‘March Wood’ is the next subscription release through my Bandcamp page and will be sent out to everyone at the start of next month. Six songs recorded one afternoon in a forest near the village of Baach, Germany. Bird song, a little wind in the trees, field recording. Track list goes like this:
When I Was Away
Barbara Allen
From The Willows By The Weir
Fold Culinary
Suit Of Stones
Miller
A video for ‘When I Was Away’ which I filmed in between songs is here:
I’ve been playing the traditional song ‘Barbara Allen’ a lot for some years now and it felt like the right spot to play something like that. You can listen to that from this Friday here:
As always - the 10€ monthly option gets you all these exclusive releases as full quality downloads, plus 6 from my back catalogue and the €15 option gets you all that plus a physical copy which I’ll make and post out to you wherever you are. Simple? Simple. Hmm.
This is the fourth release since I started with the subscription plan so if you were to sign up this month you’d instantly get 10 releases (kind of 11) with this one joining them in a few weeks. It’s been a lot of fun to make things especially for those signed up and I hope that more people go for it too.
